What the points are worth

Chase Ultimate Rewards points transfer to airline and hotel partners including United, Southwest, Hyatt, and Marriott, generally at a 1:1 ratio. Transferred well, points in this program are often worth somewhere between 1.5 and 2 cents each toward flights or hotel stays — meaning 75,000 points can realistically cover $1,100 to $1,500 in travel, though the exact value depends heavily on how you redeem them.

Meeting this in three months works out to roughly $1,333 a month.
